As announced two weeks ago, as of July 20, the Chillicothe Times-Bulletin will be a free distribution newspaper.

As of next week, the Chillicothe Times-Bulletin will be home delivered free-of-charge to those households in the 61523 and 61525 ZIP codes which receive a carrier delivered copy of either the Wednesday Journal Star or the Peoria Shopper.

Subscribers who receive the Journal Star on a Wednesday will receive their Chillicothe Times-Bulletin Wednesday mornings, with your daily newspaper. Those households receiving the Peoria Shopper will receive the hometown newspaper between Tuesday and Thursday each week.

The content and reproduction of the hometown newspaper will remain the award-winner caliber you have come to expect.

Households currently subscribing to the Chillicothe Times-Bulletin, but not receiving either a Journal Star or Peoria Shopper, will no longer receive a home-delivered copy of the weekly newspaper and a refund on the balance of your subscription will be mailed to you no later than Sept. 1.

If you will not be receiving a copy of the paper at your home, free copies will be available at:
Circle K, 1022 N. Fourth St.
Short Loin, 1224 N. Santa Fe Ave.
Beck’s, 615 N. Fourth St.
Kroger, 603 S. Fourth St.

As a result of this change more than five times as many Chillicothe households will receive home delivered copies of the Chillicothe Times-Bulletin as now receive it at their homes. This change gets our quality hometown news to considerably more households in Chillicothe than currently receive any newspaper.

Plus, Dunlap residents will continue to receive news coverage of their hometown, that is not available elsewhere.

We look forward to continuing to serve our readers in Chillicothe and Dunlap and are confident that you will feel benefited from this free, quality news delivered to your home.
