With the final “Harry Potter” movie ready to premier Friday, Dunlap Public Library is readying a Potter premier of its own.

The library will be hosting a “Harry Potter” party from 5:15-9 p.m. Aug. 5.

The program is open to anyone, and registration will stay open until Aug. 1.

Registration can be made at 243-5716.

Before showing a movie, participants will earn their O.W.L.s (Ordinary Wizarding Level) by taking different “classes” around the library, Tricia McGarrah said.

One of the classes McGarrah mentioned is that participants can go to the Charms class and make a wand.

After earning their O.W.L.s, the library will show “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1” at 6:30 p.m.

McGarrah said that costumes are encouraged, but not required.
