Address: 1630 N. Santa Fe Ave.
    Age: 65
Family: Wife, Linda Witte; three children and five grandchildren
Job: Machine builder/maintenance; Chillicothe fireman for 47 years; and 13 years as alderman for Ward 4
Education: Four years of high school and some college
Elective/appointive offices held or leadership roles: I was appointed by Mayor Troy Childers and the Council to fill a two-year vacancy in Ward 4. I have ran for two more terms and am looking forward to my third term.
Alderman’s role: To listen to the people of his ward and to see that their needs are met. Also to meet the needs of the infrastructure such as streets, drainage, sewer and water, and business.
Top priorities: I would like to see roads repaired and help with the river park development. Upgrade water system in the old part of town. Keep working on the walking trail around the city.
Specific concerns about Ward 4: Would like to do more for sidewalks than what is being done now, for instance to work on the comprehensive plan for sidewalks — to schools. Resolve our issue in the Fourth Ward regarding drainage issues.
Why residents should vote for you: I have been a life-long resident of the Fourth Ward. I feel I have a knowledge of what needs to be done in my ward and if the citizens have concerns feel free to call me at any time.
