The Community Charities Re-Sale Shoppe is one place that offers a plethora of opportunities for residents.

Is the closet, basement or attic a little full or will a car not fit into the garage?

Residents may want to consider donating their unneeded items to shoppe, which then puts them for sale.

When someone purchases them, the money is split three ways after bills to return both locally and internationally.

CrossWord Café, Chillicothe’s youth center, receives one-third of the profits. Smallworld Connections, a local ministry which sends missionaries overseas, receives one-third of the profits to do its work.

The third group can be any local non-profit group willing to help the shoppe with donations, spread the word to their friends and volunteer over the weekend.

For more information or to get on the schedule, call manager Sherry Adams at 274-2368. (See the donations already on Page A5.)

The shoppe, located at 1040 N. Second St., opens on Wednesdays for donations and for sales from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday and Friday and 9 a.m. to noon Saturday.

How can residents get more bang for their buck?

Donate, shop and volunteer at the shoppe, where the money is spent both locally and internationally.
