Margaret Sill, 86, died at 1:28 a.m. Friday, April 25, 2008, at Liberty Village/ Manor Court, where she had been a resident the past seven months.
Born Oct. 7, 1921, in Perth Amboy, N.J., to John and Mary Chervenak Yavor, she married Morton H. Sill March 3, 1946. He died Feb. 20, 2008.
She was also preceded in death by three brothers, John, George and Michael (Mickey), and one sister, Sue Tarsitano.
Surviving are her children, Morton H. Sill Jr. of Chillicothe and Nanette Sill of Peoria; two grandchildren; and one sister, Marie Babin of Toms River, N.J.
She worked as a sales person in a woman’s clothing store. After her children were grown, she resumed work as a sales person in a woman’s clothing store.
After retirement, she and her husband lived in Orlando, where she knitted blankets, booties and caps for newborns and volunteered at the Orlando Hospital.
Services are at 5 p.m. Thursday at Weber-Hurd Funeral Home, with visitation preceding by one hour. The Rev. Joe Horn will officiate. Burial will be in Arlington Cemetery.
